Imperial Discovery Day Opens Up Learning Beyond the Classroom

Imperial International School Ipoh will hold its Imperial Discovery Day 2026 on Saturday, 27 June, from 8.00am to 2.00pm at its campus in Ipoh.
The event, themed “Learn, Play & Paws”, brings together education, health, animal welfare and community activities in one Saturday programme.
For parents exploring school options, the day will include free demo classes and a free assessment for children. Visitors will also be able to meet the school team and find out more about the learning environment at Imperial International School Ipoh.
Founded in 2020, the school offers the Finnish Early Years Programme and the Cambridge International curriculum, catering to students from Early Years through to IGCSE.
Located at the foothills of the Kledang Saiong Mountain Range, Imperial International School Ipoh has grown into a diverse learning community with a focus on academics, character development and leadership.
The Discovery Day programme will also include a pet adoption drive with Noah’s Ark Ipoh, giving visitors the opportunity to learn more about animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
Health and wellness will also be part of the day. Sunway Medical Centre Ipoh will be offering a free basic health check, while UTAR Hospital will be involved in free consultation and a health talk.
Visitors can also look forward to booths, refreshments, special rebates and a chance to win exclusive tickets from Sunway Lost World of Tambun.
Other participating partners include Farm Fresh Cream Hauz and Crafty Beanery
According to Mr Tristan Brendon Tann, Deputy Principal of Imperial International School, the event amplifies the school’s belief that learning can happen in many different settings.
“Learning does not only happen in the classroom. Through Imperial Discovery Day, we hope families will discover new experiences, connect with community organisations and enjoy meaningful time together,” he said.
The event is open to the public and welcomes parents, students and members of the community.
