IPOH: The public, especially Perak residents, are invited to participate in the Publicity and Public Participation Programme for the Draft Perak State Structure Plan 2040 (Review), which will be held from 20 July to 19 August 2026.
The programme provides an opportunity for government agencies, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), the private sector, and the public to submit suggestions, feedback, objections, or representations regarding the draft plan.
Public exhibition sessions will be held on weekdays from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
A total of 17 exhibition venues have been set up to enable the public to obtain information and participate in the consultation process.
These include the Lobby of Level B, Perak State Secretariat Building, the Level 7 Lobby of PLANMalaysia Perak, as well as all 15 local authorities (PBTs) throughout the state.
Members of the public may submit their feedback by completing the Public Participation Form, accessible via a QR code.
Completed forms may be submitted at the exhibition counters or sent by post or email to planmalaysia@perak.gov.my.
The deadline for submitting participation forms is 21 August 2026.
The programme serves as an important platform to ensure that the state’s development planning takes into account the views of all stakeholders.
It also reflects the state government’s commitment to strengthening transparent and inclusive planning practices.
The initiative supports the aspiration of developing “Perak, a Prosperous and High-Performing State” by 2040.
