MBI’s Swift Response Clears Fallen Tree in Taman Cherry

IPOH – A storm accompanied by strong winds caused a tree to topple and crush a vehicle in Taman Cherry.

Ipoh City Council (MBI) Councillor Lawrence Palanisamy said a complaint regarding the incident was received through the Falim Zone.

He said the incident raised concerns among residents as it posed a potential risk to public safety.

The fallen tree also obstructed access to the affected area.

Upon receiving the complaint, he immediately alerted the relevant department for further action.

MBI’s Landscape Department responded swiftly by cutting and removing the fallen tree.

The prompt action ensured the road was safe to use again and reduced the risk of further incidents.

Lawrence expressed his appreciation to the MBI Landscape Department for its commitment and efficiency in handling the matter.

He also thanked residents for remaining vigilant and promptly reporting issues in their neighbourhood.

He added that close cooperation between residents and the local authority is essential in maintaining a safer and more liveable community.
