IPOH – Perak weightlifter Qistina Qharisya Suffia Mohd Muzani contributed a gold medal after winning the weightlifting event at the 2026 Selangor Malaysia Games (SUKMA).
She lived up to expectations by securing gold in the women’s 48kg category.
Qistina recorded a combined total lift of 154kg to emerge champion, continuing her excellent form after also winning gold at the 2024 Sarawak SUKMA.
She defeated Terengganu’s Nur Arrissya Nadia Mohamad Nor Wardi, who finished second, while Nur Dania Nasyiha Abdullah of Kelantan took third place.
Qistina’s victory added another gold medal to the Perak contingent as they continue their mission to achieve their target of 50 gold medals at SUKMA Selangor 2026.
