IPOH: Road barriers placed along a section of Jalan Kamaruddin Isa in Taman Fair Park here have been causing traffic congestion for nearly two weeks.
An Ipoh resident said the barriers had reduced the road to a single lane, resulting in heavy traffic during peak hours, particularly when people were returning from work.
“I hope the party responsible for the road repair works can complete them as soon as possible, as the barriers have been there for two weeks without any work taking place.
“The road is very congested because only one lane can be used. I hope the relevant authorities will take appropriate action to ensure the safety and convenience of road users,” the resident told Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic.
The barriers are located in front of Mee Tali Tarik and Restoran Hamidia.
