Perak DOE inspects eight premises under Ops Gempur

TAIPING – Perak Department of Environment (DOE) inspected eight premises during the Ops Gempur Q3/2026 enforcement operation on October 8.

The operation involved five enforcement teams comprising 14 enforcement officers.

Of the eight premises inspected, six were found to comply with legal requirements, while two were detected for non-compliance.

In addition, four compound offers were issued, and one investigation paper was prepared.

The actions aim to ensure that industrial operators implement corrective and preventive measures immediately.

The DOE said the operation was part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening compliance with environmental laws.

The initiative also aims to raise awareness and promote a sense of responsibility among industry players towards environmental conservation.

Regular enforcement operations and monitoring activities will continue to be intensified to ensure compliance with the established regulations.

These efforts are essential to preserving environmental sustainability for the well-being of the community.
