IPOH: Residents are relieved after overgrown bushes at an open space near Persiaran Sengat Baru 16, Simpang Pulai, were cleared on Saturday following complaints about the condition of the area.

Ipoh City Council (MBI) Zone 24 (Simpang Pulai) councillor Zuraidah Zakaria said the clean-up was carried out following complaints from residents and a site visit to assess the situation.

“Alhamdulillah, following complaints from residents and an earlier site visit involving MBI’s Landscape Department and the Kampung Sengat Village Development and Security Committee (JPKK), the overgrown bushes surrounding the trees at the open space have been cleared.

“Congratulations and my highest appreciation to MBI’s Landscape Department for its swift response and commitment to ensuring public areas remain clean, well-maintained and safe for residents.

“I would also like to thank concerned residents and the Kampung Sengat JPKK for their cooperation.

“May the close cooperation between residents, community leaders and MBI continue to be strengthened for the well-being of all,” she said.

Zone 24 covers Botani, Taman Taufik and Simpang Pulai.
