Chinese New Year Rubbish Collection Service

In conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration, Ipoh City Council (MBI) is providing a collection service for bulk trash and green waste, as well as clearing of illegal dumping sites around town.

The service which started yesterday (February 7) is ongoing until Saturday, February 13 (second day of the Chinese New Year).

60 tons of trash were cleared from Kampung Bercham, Taman Desa Pengkalan, Kampung Tawas, Tawas Permai, First Garden, Taman Jati, Simpang Pulai, Taman Taufik, Bandar Baru Menglembu, Bandar Lahat Baru and Taman Desa Aman yesterday as a start. 

65 tons more were cleared from Taman Malaysia, Taman Cempaka, Ampang Timur, Taman Desa Indah, Taman Desa Pakatan, Medan Pengkalan Ria, Simpang Pulai, Taman Soong Choon, Kampung Baru Jelapang, Taman Indah, Taman Suria, Taman Tasek, Taman Eshan, Kampong Baru Bukit Merah, Gunung Rapat, Taman Saikat, Taman Datuk Leow Yan Sip, Happy Garden, Taman Shatin and Taman Mei Kin today (February 8).
