IPOH: Members from 50 motor clubs, both local and international, participated in the `Ipoh Bikerz Day At The Park event’ held at Taman Dr Seenivasagam here yesterday.
The organizing chairman, Abdul Salim Putera Ahmad Shibi, said the inaugural two-day program was held in conjunction with Ipoh City Day.
“Today’s program is joined by members from 50 motor clubs across Malaysia.
“In addition, members from foreign clubs in Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia are also participating,” he said when met at the event.
Abdul Salim said various sales booths were set up for visitors to enjoy and to purchase merchandise from the motor clubs.
“Club members and visitors can take the opportunity to take photos at our giant photo booth.
“Besides that, they can visit a variety of merchandise and food stalls.
“What’s special is that we also brought in Harley Davidsons from Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya,” he added.
He mentioned that a variety of exciting activities had been organized over the two-day event.
“The program runs from 9 a.m. to midnight. During the day, in addition to the motor show, we are holding an open mic singing competition.
“As for the evening program, there will be a rock concert featuring the bands Teja, Hollysnake, and legendary guitarists Man Kidal and Lofthi Kasawari,” he said.
He added that various fun games were arranged for club members on Sunday.
“For the second day, we are organizing games for club members including the ‘slow ride’, ‘speedy balance ride’, ‘sack race in full gear’, and ‘tug of war’,” he said.
He added that at the end of the event, prizes would be awarded for the King & Queen of Ipoh Bikerz Day 2025, along with several other prizes.
