BUTTERWORTH: Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) has launched an exclusive waiting lounge, the Ruby Lounge, at Butterworth Station for ETS Business Class passengers.
This is part of KTMB’s ongoing initiative to enhance the travel experience for its passengers.
The exclusive lounge offers a comfortable and elegant atmosphere, fully equipped with plush seating, complimentary beverages, TV entertainment, and special service by trained stewards and stewardesses.
Modern and clean restroom facilities are also available to ensure maximum comfort before the journey begins.
The Ruby Lounge is specially designed to provide a truly premium level of comfort.
Previously, the official launch ceremony of the Ruby Lounge at Butterworth Station was officiated by KTMB’s Chief Technical Officer, Ir. Ahmad Nizam Mohamed Amin.
Also present were ETS & Intercity General Manager Nurul Azha Mokmin and Operations Control General Manager, Encik Afzar Zakariya.
Meanwhile, in a separate event, KTMB in collaboration with beverage company Aik Cheong introduced two uniquely flavored drinks for its ETS service.
Passengers can now enjoy two exciting options: Gula Melaka Teh Tarik and Pandan Latte – a delightful combination of distinctive local flavors.
The introduction of these drinks is the result of a strategic partnership with Aik Cheong, and they are now available on all ETS trains.
Also present at the launch was Aik Cheong’s Northern Region Sales Manager, Lee Chor Wee.
