IPOH: The issue of flash floods, which has raised concerns among residents in Taman Kinding and Kampung Baru Changkat Kinding, has caught the attention of the relevant authorities.
A site visit was conducted by the Ipoh City Council (MBI) along with other involved agencies to seek solutions.
Also present were the Taman Kinding Akasia Residents’ Association, representatives from MBI department heads, and Puncak Emas Infra Sdn. Bhd.
Ulu Kinta State Assemblyman (ADUN), Muhamad Arafat Varisai Mahamad, also attended the visit.
Field observations revealed that residents have been repeatedly affected by flash flooding in the area.
As an immediate measure, MBI will begin drainage cleaning works to address the issue.

It is hoped that the issue can be addressed in phases to ensure residents’ well-being and support more sustainable and balanced urban development.
