MBI Empowers Strata Communities Through the 2025 Education and Training Program

IPOH: A growing number of strata residential developments are being built in Ipoh, particularly involving new construction projects.

Unlike conventional housing areas, strata residences involve shared spaces or communal facilities among residents, typically in the form of multi-storey buildings or gated communities.

To strengthen and empower these communities, the Ipoh City Council (MBI) has launched the 2025 Strata Community Education and Empowerment Program.

Held at Dewan Taman Cempaka, the one-day program gathered around 200 participants, including developers, property management agents, and representatives from local authorities (PBT) across the state of Perak, alongside several government and private agencies.

According to MBI’s statement, the program is part of the council’s ongoing initiative to educate and support strata communities, ensuring they are more aware of their responsibilities in managing residential areas with integrity and professionalism.

“MBI hopes that programs like this will help create more harmonious, safe, and orderly living environments, while strengthening the cooperative relationship between strata communities and local authorities,” the statement added.
