TAIPING: Taiping has won two tourism awards at the Tourism Industry Award 2025, organized by the Malaysian International Tourism Development Association (MITDA).
The Taiping Municipal Council (MPT) received recognition in the category of Best Heritage City Conservation Initiative, while Taiping Zoo & Night Safari won the award for Best Educational Program.
These accolades mark another historic achievement for MPT and further solidify Taiping’s status as a premier heritage and tourism city.
This latest success is the third time MPT has received recognition at the Tourism Industry Award, following wins for Best Recreational Destination in 2022 and Best Nature Destination in 2024.
MPT extended its highest appreciation to all tourism industry players in Taiping for their support, cooperation, and continuous efforts.
This collaboration and synergy have contributed significantly to the development of the tourism sector and helped elevate Taiping’s name as a leading heritage and nature destination.
At this year’s Tourism Industry Award 2025, a total of 115 awards were presented to various recipients, both local and international.
