After its successful debut in 2023, YMCA of Ipoh is once again bringing food and flair to the spotlight with Pro Chef 2025, a youth cooking competition and gala dinner that promises to fire up the city’s culinary scene.
This October, young Malaysians will step into the kitchen to showcase their talent, while the community gathers to celebrate food, creativity, and culture.
Cooking Competition – 15 & 16 October
The contest is open to Malaysians aged 18 to 35, limited to just 30 participants. Young chefs will put their creativity, skill, and passion to the test as they compete for prizes worth a total of RM11,000.

Champion – RM6,000
1st Runner – RM3,000
2nd & 3rd Runner-up – RM1,000 each.

Gala Dinner – 17 October 2025
The excitement will culminate in a Gala Dinner at Exquisite Seafood Restaurant, Ipoh, where winners will be announced and guests can enjoy a night of fine dining and celebration.
