TAPAH: A collaborative programme between the Tapah District Police Headquarters (IPD Tapah) and the Batang Padang District Education Office was held at the Anggerik Hall, IPD Tapah Housing Complex.
The initiative is in line with the directive from the Inspector-General of Police.
The main focus of the programme is to achieve the goals and objectives of police policy implementation.
Specifically, the programme emphasized In-Service Training for all School Liaison Officers (PPS).


It addressed issues related to sexual harassment and bullying among school students.
Additionally, it aimed to raise crime awareness, including sharing sessions with the school community, safety briefings, and collaborative activities to strengthen the network of cooperation between the police and schools.
Tapah District Police Chief, Superintendent Johari Yahya, delivered a speech and message on empowering the role of PPS.
This involves more proactive and attentive preventive measures in addressing sexual harassment and bullying issues at the school level.
IPD Tapah is committed to strategic initiatives that support the District Education Office in creating a safer and more conducive school environment.
Also present was the Deputy District Education Officer of Batang Padang, Rafizal Shamsuddin.
