A Community Rooted in Compassion
For more than 25 years, Theg-Chog Norbu Ling (TNG) Ipoh has been a place where people in Perak come together to find peace, wisdom, and compassion.

It began as a small practice group and has grown into a supportive community, guided by Venerable Lama Gelong Sangyay Tendzin and connected to the international TNG network founded in France under the spiritual authority of His Holiness the Karmapa.

A New Chapter for TNG-Ipoh
TNG-Ipoh is now embarking on a new chapter with the building of a dedicated Dharma centre in Taman Golf.
The project is blessed and supported by His Eminence Drubpön Dechen Rinpoche, representative of His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, a highly respected spiritual leader in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
The new two-storey, 5,000 sq. ft. Dharma centre will include a meditation hall and lama residence, providing space for pujas (prayer rituals), meditation sessions, Dharma teachings, and retreats for up to 150-200 participants.
At present, weekly puja and Dharma sharing sessions from the heart of practice at TNG-Ipoh, and when Venerable Lama Sangyay visits, the centre hosts a month of daily meditations, seminars, and retreats such as the Nyungnäy practice.
