TAIPING — The much-anticipated annual event for nature and bird enthusiasts, Taiping Bird Week 2025, is set to make a colourful return to Taiping Zoo & Night Safari this October.
With the theme celebrating the beauty of nature and the diversity of bird species, the event scheduled from October 10 to 12, promises a wide range of interactive activities for the whole family.
Held at the Pavilion of Taiping Zoo & Night Safari, the three-day programme will run from 8 am to 6 pm daily.
Among the main highlights are the Taiping Photo Run, Taiping Bird Race, and Hornbill Fun Walk, combining elements of fitness, environmental awareness and bird knowledge.
The Bird Talk session will offer visitors a chance to learn more about unique bird species, while the Meet & Greet the Birds segment allows guests to interact closely with selected birds at the zoo.
For children, the TBW2025 Colouring Contest aims to nurture creativity while educating them on the importance of environmental preservation from a young age.
In a statement, Taiping Zoo & Night Safari said the sixth edition of the event aims to raise public awareness on the importance of conserving birds and their natural habitats.
“Taiping Bird Week is not only entertaining but also serves as an effective educational platform, especially for the younger generation,” the statement read.
The public is invited to join the event and experience the wonders of the avian world amidst the serene green surroundings of Taiping Zoo & Night Safari.
