By Zaki Salleh

TANJONG MALIM: Coffee enthusiasts and local art lovers can spend their Saturday at the Mini Pesta Moh Ngopi program taking place at Lorong Seni, Muallim.

The event is a joint effort by the National Security Council (MKN), Tanjong Malim District Council (MDTM), and the Department of Information Malaysia.

Running from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., visitors will be treated to a variety of engaging and interactive activities centered around coffee, art, and local heritage.

Among the highlights are a Latte Art Competition, Lucky Draws, and Sembang Kopi—a casual sharing and discussion session about coffee.

There will also be Coffee and Craft Stalls, as well as the Muallim Got Talent competition.

In addition, a wide range of coffee from local brewers, pastries, cakes, and traditional treats such as Tart Bengkahulu will be available for purchase.

Visitors will also have the chance to purchase local crafts such as Perak block-printed batik and leather-based souvenirs.

According to the organizers, the program not only celebrates the coffee-drinking culture within the community, but also provides a platform for local entrepreneurs, artists, and cultural practitioners to showcase their creations.

With the theme “A Cup of Coffee, A Sip of Memories”, the event is expected to attract both locals and tourists from outside the area.

The public is encouraged to attend with family and friends to liven up the festivities.
