TANJONG MALIM: The welfare of a hardcore poor resident in Kampung Ketoyong here, who is currently caring for her grandchild with disabilities (OKU), has received attention.
The President of the Tanjong Malim District Council (MDTM), Dr. Shazree Idzham Wahab Abdul Rahman, personally came forward to present a personal donation to Madam Paini.
The contribution, which was a wheelchair, was made as a gesture of concern for the family’s hardship and to help ease their burden.
According to Dr. Shazree Idzham, the initiative is part of MDTM’s ongoing efforts to reach out to the local community.
He said it is to ensure that no group is left out of the attention and care of the local authorities.
“We not only carry out administrative and development responsibilities but also play a role in helping those in need.
“It is hoped that this contribution will bring some relief to Madam Paini’s family,” he said.
The program also reflects MDTM’s commitment to strengthening its corporate social responsibility initiatives in line with the goal of making Tanjong Malim a prosperous and caring district that prioritizes the welfare of its people.
