IPOH: Perak has launched its state housing dashboard, Hartanah@Perak, a geospatial-based digital reporting platform that allows detailed, transparent, and easily accessible information on housing development across the state to be displayed.
The dashboard, developed through collaboration between UPEN (PerakGIS) and the Perak Housing and Property Board (LPHP), maps and profiles housing projects covering planning, construction status, location, housing categories, as well as the status of sick and abandoned projects.
Through this dashboard, the state government can monitor the achievement of the Perak Sejahtera 2030 housing targets more comprehensively, while also providing a clear reference source for local authorities, technical agencies, and the public.

Menteri Besar Perak, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad stated that the launch coincided with the Perak State Geospatial Aspirations Programme 2025.
This is the second edition of the biennial programme, which focuses on strengthening the use of spatial data in state development.
“With the theme ‘GIS: The Pulse of Resilient Socioeconomic Transformation’, this programme highlights the importance of geospatial technology as a foundation for data-driven decision-making in the housing sector, security, public health, and government service delivery.
“The programme also brings together geospatial experts and features exhibitions by PerakGIS, PDRM, the Ministry of Health, Manjung Municipal Council, and JUPEM as part of efforts to strengthen the state’s spatial data ecosystem.
“At the same time, it broadens understanding of the potential of geospatial analytics in supporting state development,” he said in the statement.

In line with this effort, the state government is prioritising the strengthening of data sharing and integration across departments and state agencies to ensure that spatial data management supports planning and monitoring of development more effectively.
This approach is crucial to ensuring that the Hartanah@Perak dashboard functions optimally and supports the State Government’s ambition to make Perak a modern, competitive state driven by data and technology.
