Planning iftar for this year’s Ramadan?

TUI BLUE The Haven Ipoh brings back Singgahsana Nostalgia, its Ramadan buffet centred on traditional dishes, live cooking stations, and a setting designed to accommodate families and large gatherings comfortably.

Cuisines Restaurant during iftar, with the Singgahsana Nostalgia buffet set up for this Ramadan.

Ramadan is tentatively expected to begin on 19 February 2026, with the Singgahsana Nostalgia buffet served from 20 February to 18 March 2026. Iftar is available nightly from 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm at Cuisines Restaurant, the resort’s lakeside dining venue.

Cuisines Restaurant can host around 550 to 600 guests during Ramadan, making it suitable for group and corporate iftar bookings.

Set within a natural geopark and fronting a private lake and garden, it offers a destination-style iftar in a gated resort environment. The restaurant is currently ranked number one on TripAdvisor out of 528 restaurants in Ipoh.

At the live stations, chefs carve and serve signature grilled meats as part of the Singgahsana Nostalgia buffet.

Themed Singgahsana Nostalgia, it follows a fixed menu framework, featuring around 60 items with a daily line-up of signature dishes and a rotating selection of main courses. All dishes are prepared fresh, without MSG, artificial colouring, or preservatives.

The spread begins with lighter options such as Rojak Buah Tropika, ulam ulaman, kerabu, and jeruk, easing diners into the meal. These are followed by heartier mains including Nasi Hujan Panas Bewarna, Ayam Kari Kentang Pekat, Tumis Baby Kailan Dengan Ikan Masin, Ikan Dua Rasa Harmoni, and Udang Masak Mentega Emas.

Fresh ulam ulaman and kerabu set the tone with crisp, tangy flavours

Several dishes anchor The Haven’s Ramadan offering. The resort’s Sup Gearbox remains a highlight, known for its robust broth and generous portions. Kambing Panggang is prepared with restraint, tender and aromatic without being overpowering. This season also features Itik Salai Warisan Chef and Rendang Tok Daging Lembut, both slow cooked to allow their spices to fully develop.

Rendang Tok is slow cooked until dark, rich, and intensely flavoured, a signature that draws diners back year after year.

Guests can expect barbecue meats sizzling straight from the grill, alongside freshly fried favourites served hot throughout the evening. A pot of fragrant bone soup simmers nearby, while the noodle station turns out bowls made to order. The dessert counter offers traditional sweet treats, with a separate fresh fruit section to round off the spread.

Colourful Kuih and classic desserts offer a comforting finish to iftar.
