MANJUNG: Discarded and used items can still be useful if they are wisely put to use by those in need.
This is the approach taken by the Manjung Municipal Council (MPM) through its Licensing and Enforcement Department.
The department has carried out the disposal of confiscated property in an orderly and prudent manner through donations.

This is in line with the regulations and decisions set out in the disposal committee meetings.
The confiscated items disposed of involved canopy and garage structures that were still usable and have been channeled as donations to Surau Al-Qassam, Phase 2B Seri Manjung.
These items are intended for welfare purposes and for use by the local community.
This donation-based disposal approach not only helps reduce wastage, but also adds value to the community.

At the same time, it ensures that the management of confiscated property is carried out in a transparent, systematic, and responsible manner.
MPM’s efforts deserve praise, while continuing to uphold enforcement actions with integrity and prioritizing public well-being and interests.
