BATU GAJAH, March 5 — The local community has been advised not to feed stray dogs in public areas.
A spokesman for the Batu Gajah District Council (MDBG) said such actions could lead to an increase in the stray dog population and create disturbances as well as safety risks to the public.

The call was made following an operation to capture stray dogs around the Batu Gajah area.
During the operation, a total of 15 stray dogs were successfully captured.
“MDBG carried out the stray dog capture operation to control the population and ensure the safety of residents in the surrounding areas.
“Community cooperation is essential to ensure the environment remains safe, clean and under control,” he said.
