By: Aida Aziz
IPOH: A total of 15 cases related to extreme heat have been reported so far, including one fatality involving a child.

The Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) in a statement advised the public to be more cautious and avoid prolonged exposure to the hot weather.
“Extreme heat is affecting several areas across Malaysia.
“Monitor early signs of heatstroke, such as persistent dizziness, excessive thirst, and rising body temperature.
“If these signs appear, take immediate preventive measures by seeking shade, drinking plenty of water, and cooling the body as soon as possible.
“Most importantly, never leave children or anyone unattended in a vehicle, even for a minute,” the statement said.
