TELUK INTAN- Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming continued his Sentuhan Kasih KPKT 2026 tour in Teluk Intan with a visit to eight key projects.
During the visit, he announced a total allocation of RM47.44 million.
Of the total, RM6.87 million has been specifically allocated for development projects under his ministry.
The allocation includes RM4.24 million for Infrastructure and Public Amenities Projects by the Department of Local Government, covering 10 key initiatives.


Among the projects implemented are the upgrading of LED street lighting along Jalan Changkat Jong and surrounding areas in Teluk Intan town.
Road repair works in Taman Impiana and Jalan Pasir Bedamar have also been prioritised.
The government is also carrying out drainage upgrades and road resurfacing works in Taman Seri Setia to enhance residents’ comfort.
Public amenities are being improved through the upgrading of “BMW”-standard public toilets at Terminal Intan.


At the same time, RM500,000 has been allocated to upgrade landscaping at Taman Zahari Zabidi, while RM80,000 has been channelled for a Home Repair Programme involving four housing units.
During the visit, he also inspected several high-impact projects, including schools, housing developments, recreational parks and public facilities.
The tour concluded with the Sentuhan Kasih Aidilfitri event, which saw the presentation of aid and allocations to the Teluk Intan Municipal Council for the benefit of the local community.
