IPOH: The caring attitude of a Malaysian residing in London has become an example to many after he stepped forward to assist underprivileged families through a welfare programme in Buntong.
Dave Singh took part in a programme organised by the Healthy Women Happy Family Association by contributing essential grocery items to several families in need.
He said the contributions were intended to help ease the burden of recipients for at least a month or longer.
The donated items consisted of various quality daily necessities aimed at helping the families live more comfortably.

Dave said he has always believed that helping the community is a responsibility that should continue regardless of location or circumstances.
He added that he was happy to be able to share his blessings and support those in need.
He also shared that his mother, Sayarany Anthony, had passed away, and that serving the community was among the ways he honoured the humanitarian values instilled by her.
The man in his 40s attended the welfare programme together with his family members.

Also present to show moral support were his sister Jesbir Kaur, younger brother Amar Singh and brother-in-law Gurjaran Singh.
Their presence reflected a strong sense of family unity and concern for the well-being of the local community.
The programme also received a positive response from residents who benefited from the assistance.
It is hoped that such noble efforts will inspire more people to continue helping those in need, regardless of background.
