Yayasan Ipoh (YI) will be hosting a Senior Citizen Awareness Programme: Fall Care and Prevention event, at the YI Convention Centre (YICC) on 13 June, from 8 am to 12 pm. The address is Lebuh Tasek Timur 8, Kampung Bercham, 31400 Ipoh.
The event is dedicated to the theme of “Respect, Care and Empower our Elders” and is designed to provide valuable health insights and support for our beloved seniors.
During the event, there will be free Health Screenings, such as for blood pressure and glucose tests.
There will be an Expert Talk: Insights on Fall Care and Prevention by Dr. Prem Adheesh Lekhi.
And for engagement, there will be group therapy sessions and community connection.
Refreshments such as a tea break will be included.
The fee is RM 20 per person.
