TAIPING: The Taiping Municipal Council (MPT), through its Enforcement Division, has conducted a special operation to remove unauthorized advertisements at several locations within its administrative area.
The operation involved the removal of directional signs, buntings, and banners installed without official approval from the council.
The action was taken to ensure that all advertisement installations comply with established regulations.

According to MPT, the enforcement was carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Advertisement Bylaws (MPT) 2013 currently in force.
The move also aims to maintain public safety and prevent obstructions to road users.
Furthermore, uncontrolled advertisement installations can affect the aesthetics and image of Taiping town.
In relation to this, business operators and the public are advised to obtain official approval from MPT before installing any form of advertisement.
MPT hopes that cooperation from all parties will help create a more organized, safe, and harmonious urban environment.
