All I Want for Christmas

By Seefoon Chan-Koppen

If I believed in Santa Claus, instead of two front teeth, as in the lyrics of that song published in 1948 and made popular by a host of singers including Nat King Cole and the Platters, I would head straight for Adris Jewellers in Greentown and ask Santa for some of these.

And my letter to Santa would say:

“Dear Santa, I have been a good girl throughout the year. And  I do want to dazzle my friends at the Christmas party I’ve been invited to. So please, please Santa may I have this? “

This delectably divine set (pic, right) is guaranteed to dazzle at any party and make all your gal pals rush to Adris. But alas, once Santa has given it to me for Christmas, that’s it gals.  Its a one-of-a-kind, painstakingly handcrafted by Adris’s team of master jewellers. So dear Santa, please grab it now before someone else does.

“And if this first set is out of your budget, please, please Santa, how about these? Diamond Earrings set with Natural Yellow Diamonds, or the Ring set with Rubies & Diamonds and the Dangling Earrings set with two Pear Shape Emeralds of 2.05cts & Diamonds. Oooh, I DO love coloured gemstones and especially when set with my favourite white stone: Diamonds! (they are a girl’s best friend aren’t they Santa?)”

“Oh well, if I don’t get any of the above from Santa, maybe I can afford to buy these for myself. Ooh, imagine this South Sea Pearl Pendant set with Diamonds showing off my decollete, or the simple insouciant studs for everyday office wear, and how I’d make the ladies green with envy with this pair of simple Diamond Dangles (earrings) to dress up any outfit.”

So ladies and also you gentlemen, hurry to Adris this Christmas. If you get there before December 16, the sale is on and there’s a huge selection to choose from to suit every pocket. So  whether you’re buying for yourself or for your loved ones Adris is the jeweller of choice in Ipoh.
