Kindergartens around Perak together with Solid Waste Corporation (SWCorp) Perak organised a go-green event recently at Casuarina@Meru on October 31.
The carnival was held to educate the kids, teachers and also parents on the importance of keeping the earth green for a better future. President of Perak Kindergarten Association, Mrs Nafizah Dato’ Abdul Malik congratulated the effort made by everyone especially teachers who spent their time training the kids to perform at the carnival as well as teaching them about going green.
“It is important for both teachers and parents to provide a healthier environment for the kids to live and to learn. Our children deserve the best from all sorts of perspectives; nutritious food, healthier lifestyle and good morals to ensure a better future for them,” said Nafizah.
The fun and merry carnival saw kids from several kindergartens in Perak taking part in numerous activities such as ‘Best dressed made from recycled items’; singing on stage and many more.
