The Family Wellness Club, in collaboration with the National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN) Perak, will be conducting the 2nd Sex Education Workshop this year under the ‘Program Pekerti@NGOs’, with the module “I’m In Control”. This pilot Project is an initiative by LPPKN pursuant to the objectives of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to curb some of the social ills among our teenagers today.

The teenagers will learn about their own sexuality and the need to be responsible and have the right values. They will be taught skills to avoid or reduce sexual activities that have a risk of leading to unwanted teen pregnancies, abortions, sexually transmitted diseases and HIV/AIDS.
