Missing Elderly: Daughter Worries About Father’s Safety

An elderly man is reported missing, last seen three days ago leaving his home located at No.85, Lebuh Rapat Baru 11, Taman Song Choon, 31350, Ipoh.

Loo Kam Lan, 53, explained that her father Loo Sing @ Low Sing, 77, left the house at 4am on Sunday, June 21.

“My father lives with my 74-year-old mother,  Chan Soh Ha. This is the first time he has not returned home. It is his daily routine to leave home early in the morning to meet his friends for breakfast around the neighbourhood,” she said.

Loo expressed her concern for her father’s safety as he is diagnosed with high blood pressure and cholesterol which require daily medication.

“To date, searches have been done around Ipoh from Sunday morning but to no avail,” she stated during a media conference today at Simpang Pulai Assemblyperson Community Service Centre.

Simpang Pulai Assemblyperson, Tan Kar Hing added that the family has made a police report at Kg Rapat Police Station.

“The missing elderly was riding a black Yamaha Lagenda motorcycle with registration number of AGN 6941. With a height of 165cm and short gray hair, he was wearing a blue checkered shirt with long black pants,” he highlighted.
