Ipoh Nursery and Preschool Kinder Labz is buzzing after receiving praise at an informal inspection by a member of the state education department on July 7, 2020.
Head Assistant to State Director of Education, En. Dzul Hanan, said: “Kinder Labz is one of only two kindergartens to call an officer for an inspection of its SOPs.” He added, “The environment here is good; classrooms are comfortable and spacious.”
The tour was led by Director of Education Evelyn Chen who showed them the many hygiene and social distancing measures that were in place at Kinder Labz.
En. Dzul Hanan praised the reduced class sizes, separate entrances for students, teachers and parents, as well as an ‘Isolation bay’ to safely care for students if they develop a temperature during the school day as they wait to be picked up by their parents.
Ms Chen was delighted with the feedback. “We are very pleased that the hard work of the staff and the support from our fantastic community has been recognised. ‘Bee caring’ is our top priority – implementing hygiene and safety SOPs and having them examined by an expert gives our parents even more confidence that not only do we provide an excellent curriculum, but we also care for the wellbeing of every child.”
Alicia Christine, 6, presented En. Dzul with a handmade card to thank him for visiting the hive.
In a recent parent survey, 100% of parents said they would recommend Kinder Labz to friends and family.
