The National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) was established under the 9th Malaysia Plan as part of the strategies in preparedness of effective management of disasters, outbreaks, crises and emergencies (DOCE) related to health. Located in Putrajaya, CPRC is placed under the Surveillance Section of the Disease Control Division, Ministry of Health.

CPRC serves as a central nerve point for the command, control and coordination of the management of DOCE at the national level.
