By Mei Kuan

Running on the theme Malaysia Prihatin (Malaysia Is Concerned), Sunway Lost World Of Tambun (SLWOT) hosted the Merdeka Vespa Ride with about 100 riders as the convoy rode to Ipoh town.

With the national flag attached to their bikes, the ride which kicked off in Penang and Putrajaya was in conjunction with the National Day celebrations and the launch of new model Vespa Sei Giorni II Edition.

Executive Councillor of Youth, Sports, Communications and Multimedia, Khairul Shahril Mohamed flagged off the participants. Present was General Manager of SLWOT, Nurul Nuzairi who then rode on the scooters together with the guest of honour.

The lively affair was aimed to inspire the spirit of patriotism and love for the country among Malaysians, especially the younger generation.

In conjunction with the celebration, SLWOT now offers a “Buy 2 Free 1” online promotion till September 4 when one purchases the ticket at www.sunwaylostworldoftambun.com.

“We hope to inculcate the spirit of togetherness and unity among all Malaysians here in our theme park. Check out our latest attraction, Dragon’s Lair Adventure as the first cinematic tube ride in South East Asia to enhance visitors’ experience. Wishing all Malaysians Happy Independence Day!” Nurul Nuzairi enthused.
