Terrorists Threatened to Kill the Inspector-General of Police

Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) task forces were ordered to obliterate terrorist groups that are threatening national security.

The Minister of Home Affairs, Dato’ Seri Hamzah Zainudin wished that the person, known as ‘Sebastian’ and associated with terrorist groups ‘Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) 2.0’, is immediately apprehended.

“I urge PDRM to be careful and ensure that the terrorist groups are opposed to the extreme,” he told reporters after contributing aid relief to some 150 flood victims at Semai Bakti Hall, Felda Ijok, Selama yesterday (December 2).

Hamzah, who’s also the parliamentary member for the Larut constituency, commented regarding a man who claimed to be the commander-in-chief of LTTE 2.0, threatening to strike the Royal Malaysia Police Headquarters in Bukit Aman and the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) Malaysia.

The man who sent the threats via email to the national media further claimed that after the strike at both places, they’ll be shooting to kill the Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador, before striking Sri Lanka.

“The authorities have had no sleep ever since in monitoring a list of groups associated with terrorism, LTTE 2.0 included,” Hamzah expressed.

He reminded the public not to fear any threats as Malaysia has laws to combat such terrorist groups.

“The Sedition Act 1948 is still in power to punish anyone who harms national peace,” Hamzah stressed.
