Aid Contribution for EMCO Residents and Frontliners

Following the implementation of the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) at Taman Pinji Mewah, Menteri Besar Incorporated (MB Inc) presented aid in forms of food boxes, face masks and hand sanitisers to 407 families living in the residential area.

According to the chief of Strategic Corporate Communications for MB Inc, Siti Kamesah Bee Md Hashim, the contribution is in accordance with Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu’s call to proactively assist citizens heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The contribution isn’t only for households living in Taman Pinji Mewah, but also for frontliners who are actively containing the spread of the deadly virus at the residential area,” she told reporters after the contribution programme at Sekolah Kebangsaan Pengkalan yesterday (December 3).

Present were assistant officer for Batu Gajah Social Welfare Department, Razimah Ramli and officer-on-duty Inspector Nurul Shafinaz Saud, who received the aid in place of Taman Pinji Mewah residents and frontliners respectively.

“Hopefully, the aid contribution lessens the burden of residents and facilitates extermination of the virus for frontliners,” Siti Kamesah expressed.

Earlier, Taman Pinji Mewah was placed under a two-week EMCO from December 1 to December 14, following an outbreak of cases, along with Taman Klebang Jaya.
