2021 Assessment Tax Lucky Draw by MBI

The Mayor of Ipoh, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin stated that Ipoh City Council (MBI) recorded a slight reduction in the amount of assessment tax payments.

“For the year 2021, there were 4.7 percent lesser payments, equivalent to 141,191 in comparison to 148,174 in 2020. 

“In monetary terms, RM36.45 million were collected, compared to RM39.5 last year.”

He said so in his speech before the 2021 Assessment Tax Lucky Draw session which took place at the MBI building earlier today (March 29).

The lucky draw session was also live-streamed via MBI’s official Facebook page.

It featured RM76,000 worth of cash prizes, including 30 units of main prizes between RM20,000 to RM200 and 200 units of RM100 consolation prizes.

“The lucky draw this round was the first of its kind to feature wholly cash prizes,” Rumaizi mentioned.

Also present were city councillors Dato’ Mazlan Abdul Rahman, Abu Bakar Hussian and Mahader Ahmad Mohammad Ayob.
