Held in strict adherence to the health and safety standard operating procedures, it was attended by over 60 media practitioners of print and electronic media of the state.

The affable Mah greeted everyone personally table by table before the presentation of festive cookies and dates as a token of appreciation. There was also a lucky draw where winners walked off with electronics.

Present was Haji Mohd Taib bin Haji Ubah, Director of Perak Information Department who thanked Mah for the appreciation event to celebrate the vital role of media members in bridging the government leaders and the people.

“The media community is akin to a comrade of the government. We work hand-in-hand as a team to ensure that the people are informed of all the plans and policies implemented by the government especially during the pandemic. My utmost gratitude to all for the continuous and dedicated support,” Mah highlighted in his speech.

The dinner concluded with a group picture.
