Corporate Entities Donated Over 3,000 Face Masks

In an effort to curb the new wave of COVID-19 pandemic, corporate entities made up of Ipoh International Convention Centre (IICC), Sycal Berhad and Bond Suites took the initiative to donate over 3,000 face masks to the police, Ipoh City Council (MBI) and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) around Ipoh and the Kinta district.

The contribution also served as a form of support to the effort of the frontliners who have made a lot of sacrifices in order to curb the pandemic.

During a recent presentation ceremony, Mayor Datuk Rumaizi Baharin praised the thoughtful care demonstrated by the corporate entities towards frontliners including the enforcement officers of the MBI.

“The contribution is very meaningful especially in the month of Ramadan, and at the same time it helps to reduce the cost burden for the purchase of face masks.

“I welcome collaboration from all including corporate companies in channelling aid like this as a moral support for frontliners at sites,” he added.
