Viral Message on HRPB is Fake News

Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (HRPB) via a media statement dated today (May 13) denied a viral message on social media claiming the hospital is in a worrying state following the increase of COVID-19 cases, describing it as fake.
Dr Abdul Malek bin Osman, the Director of HRPB explained that the current situation at the hospital is still under control and its services are running smoothly like usual.
Members of the public are advised to constantly adhere to the set standard operating procedures (SOPs) and reduce movement to public places during the ongoing Movement Control Order. Besides that, the use of face masks and disinfectant liquid is a vital practice at public settings.
The community is urged to not spread any unverified news or information as it could trigger public anxiety and confusion.
