PWW Continues Aiding the Needy

Perak Women for Women Society (PWW) distributed basic food provisions to 30 needy families in Kampung Cina, a village at Changkat Kinding Estate in the outskirts of Ipoh today (July 4). The recipients are mostly elderly who used to be farmers and odd-job workers. They were overjoyed to receive donations of food provisions to help them tide over this difficult period.

PWW expresses their gratitude to their kind donors and also to Sean and Faiz for coordinating the distribution this morning.

So far, PWW has helped 1,010 families since the start of the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO), channeling aid to B40 communities and the hardcore poor who are severely impacted by the prolonged lockdown.

PWW highlights that with food on the table, there’ll be less tension within a family and domestic violence can be reduced.

For those who would like to contribute to their food aid initiative, you may send your donations to CIMB Account No. 8004882245 (Persatuan Wanita Perak Untuk Wanita)
