The government of today will not let its people suffer, instead always taking action to save lives and livelihoods.
Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said, despite the government being imperfect, his party understands that the people are restless and worried about the rising number of COVID-19 cases daily.
Hence, he said the cabinet is trying their best to overcome this current crisis by speeding up the vaccination programme.
“What is important is that we must show solidarity in facing these difficult times. Let’s not argue and point fingers.
“A lot of people are suffering, people losing their sources of income and our frontliners continue to be burdened and hospitals are under pressure,” he said during the National Recovery Plan (PPN) briefing in the Special Parliament Sitting today (July 26).
He urged people from different backgrounds to come together and play their roles in facing this pandemic situation.
“Let us work together, seek blessing and achieve our goal together,” said the Prime Minister.
