Kudos to the Everyday Heroes of Ipoh: Heah Hock Hin and PWW

Ipoh Echo commends home business owner Heah Hock Hin for his selfless efforts in stepping forward to aid the community during uncertain times. Heah recently donated his final batch of 100 pastry boxes to the Perak Women for Women (PWW) Food Aid Initiative, generously contributing to the underprivileged during the pandemic.

Heah runs a home-based business selling various pies, puffs and char kuey teow. To read more about what he offers, view this entry on Ipoh Food Diva

PWW is a local NGO run solely by dedicated volunteers who have been steadily working to support the needy throughout the many movement control orders. They often distributed groceries and other daily necessities to the B40 community all over Ipoh, and they continue to do so till this day.

However, they also rely heavily on contributions from the public to continue their cause. Refer to the flyer below for more information on how to channel monetary donations to them. One may also contact PWW on their Facebook page for further inquiries.
