BioFri, a supplement brand offering amino antioxidant collagen beverages, spread cheers to welfare homes in conjunction with its soft launch cum first anniversary today (October 25).
Two cheques of RM1,000 each were presented to the representatives of Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Orang Kurang Upaya (welfare home for the differently abled) and Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Anak-anak Yatim Kasih Sayang (welfare home for orphans).
Donations in the form of daily necessities such as water purifiers, wheelchairs, masks, hand sanitisers, gloves and adult diapers were also presented to the homes at Dulang Coffee House of Excelsior Hotel.
“We would like to share some festive joy with the unfortunate and the needy,” said Frida Khong, Founder of BioFri.
A ribbon and cake-cutting ceremony was also held to mark its soft launch and first anniversary.
BioFri was established in September 2020 with distributor outlets in Ipoh, Pulau Pinang, Kedah and Kuala Lumpur.
“So far, the response has been growing steadily as we receive many positive feedbacks from customers. We waited a year to hold the soft launch due to the pandemic,” Frida shared with Ipoh Echo.
It was double the joy for BioFri as the afternoon also saw the launch of its upcoming product, BioFri Synbiotic, a supplement for gut health and well being.
Running on the motto “Health is Wealth”, BioFri is made up of natural ingredients to boost the immune system, detoxify the body, strengthen structures of bones, promote cardiovascular health and restore skin elasticity among others.
In Ipoh, BioFri’s products can be found at Teras Nadi Medical Supplies along Jalan Kamaruddin Isa and Signature Illumine along Jalan Raja Ekram.
