Don’t Abuse the Free Neutering Campaign by Noah’s Ark Ipoh

The rising population of stray animals has become an intractable problem. To address the issue, Noah’s Ark Ipoh Animal Welfare (NAI) launched a free neutering programme a couple of months ago.

The initiative is to help minimise the growing number of stray animals by offering rescuers and feeders a cost-free neutering campaign.

However, NAI’s president Norfazilatun, who is also a regular feeder and a rescuer herself, lamented that the shelter has been receiving countless requests from pet owners to neuter their pets. “Many of them came to the vets asking if they could neuter their pets.”

She clarified that only rescuers and feeders are eligible for the neutering service. She said no one should take the campaign for granted.

Feeders and rescuers may make an appointment at the Jr Veterinary Center at Ipoh Garden or bring the animals to Silver Land Pets Care and Veterinary Surgery at Taman Rishah at Silibin for neutering, as there are more veterinarians there. The list of participating clinics is in the poster.

Refer to the poster below for the clinics involved in this campaign.
