Four Tourism Locations in Perak to be Promoted in Dubai

Four tourism locations in Perak will be promoted at an international platform via an expo in Dubai in the effort to highlight state products globally.

Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad said that himself, together with several representatives of agencies and departments, are expected to depart for the country beginning December 26 till January 2 for that purpose.

”Among the matters we will bring up at the expo is the promotion of a few tourism products including the Tanjung Tualang Tin Dredge No. 5 (TT5).

”Besides that, three more areas to be promoted are Embun Sahom Gopeng, Kuak Hill Resort, MBI as well as the new TT5 Maze Park.

He said so after making a work visit to TT5 and TT5 Maze Park today.

Present were state secretary, Datuk Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim and CEO of MB Inc., Anuar Zainal Abidin.

According to him, two weeks ago, a German ambassador also visited and helped to promote the TT5 to several other embassies.

”The German delegation will visit the TT5 in the coming March.

Saarani added that his visit to TT5 today was aimed to observe the development of the area targeted to be the major attraction especially for international tourists in the future.

”I believe there are more upgrading efforts that can be done to attract fans of tin dredges.

”Via the TT5 and Maze Garden, we hope to attract both domestic and international tourists.

”Local visitors will also enjoy visiting such spots, as it is unique besides visiting the conventional tourism spots like water theme parks or zoos. This is something new, with history and suitable for all,” he stated – Ehsan Berita Suara Perak.
