Impiana Hotel Helps Flood Victims

The recent floods in Pahang have gained the attention of Impiana Hotel to contribute as a sign of support and sympathy.

Human Resource Manager, Vethambal Rajalimgam said his colleagues at Impiana Hotel felt sympathy for the flood victims especially in Pahang, and decided to raise funds to aid them.

“As Malaysians, we also want to contribute to the victims of natural disasters. However, given the current situation where all industries are back in operation, we are unable to spend time participating in the clean-up work in the flooded areas.

“In support of the flood victims, we raised funds among the staff to buy items such as pillows, rice cookers, blankets and some dry food.

“We are very proud of the noble efforts made by Pertubuhan Puteri Kebajikan Perak (PPKP) for giving us the opportunity to help those in need,” he told Ipoh Echo after presenting a donation to PPKP Chairperson, Wan Norashikin Noran at Impiana Hotel yesterday (December 30).

Meanwhile, Wan Norashikin Noran said her party thanked all the contributors who had come forward to provide assistance to the flood victims.

“I would also like to thank Batera Amal and Sahabat Perak Charity Organization for being the main leader in the success of the Flood Relief Mission in Tanjung Kerayong, Mentakab, Kampung Sungai Ara, Kampung Batu Kapur, Kampung Gajah Mati and Taman Jasmin,” she said.
