Drug Processing Lab Busted With Seized Items Amounting to RM348,768

The Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (JSJN), in cooperation with Perak JSJN, has successfully busted a drug processing lab syndicate with seized items amounting to RM 348,768 from raids at five locations at Perak and Negeri Sembilan.

Perak Police Chief, Dato’ Pahlawan Mior Faridalathrash bin Wahid explained that during the raids, six suspects were detained and five vehicles as well as two strands of jewellery were confiscated, estimated to be worth RM181,500.

The police also confiscated drugs believed to be heroin with an approximate weight of 9.42kg and syabu with an approximate weight of 1.14kg, estimated to be worth RM167,268.

According to the Facebook page of Perak Police, chemical substances and tools believed to be used to process drugs were also confiscated.

The case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. All suspects are remanded for six days beginning February 14 till 19 to aid the investigation. 

Present were Perak Deputy Police Chief, Dato’ Pahlawan Azizi bin Mat Aris, Chief of Perak JSJN, Lee King Chuan and Deputy Chief of Perak JSJN, Mohd Husni bin Manaf.
