Le Tour de Langkawi to Return

After a delay of two years, the 26th edition of Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) for the year 2022 returns. 

The Route Introduction Ceremony of LTdL 2022 was officiated by Youth and Sports Minister, Dato’ Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu at Padang Awam, Klebang Restu in Ipoh.

The route covers 1,183 kilometres with eight stages passing by Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Selangor, Perak, Pulau Pinang, Kedah and Langkawi. 

Held at the same location of the ceremony was the Youth and Sports Carnival 2022 in the spirit of the Malaysian Family.

The two-day carnival was filled with activities divided into several segments such as sports and recreation.

There were exhibitions for health, career, education, agencies and community services among others.

Various departments and agencies under the Youth and Sports Ministry were on site to offer direct service to the people such as the State Youth and Sports Department (JBSN), ISN, MSN, i-LEAD, IYRES, Impact Malaysia and ILKBS. 

The carnival also featured a talk by Ustaz Don with special appearances by Kumpulan Inteam and Harry Khalifah. 

Present were Secretary-General of the Youth and Sports Ministry, Dato’ Jana Santhiran Muniayan, Director-General of the State Youth and Sports Department, Mohd Azhari Mohamad and the higher management of the ministry and department.
